A VERY EARLY LEICA, PLEASE, READ !
Leica IA
# 3684
(1926), with the early
mushroom", a VERY early veteran
Leica, with proper early fittings as: 4 screws on top border, low-profile
advancing knob,
the rare "feathered"
arrows on both knobs, and it is even one of the rare "close
focus" ones,
fitted with the special Elmar 50/3.5 that may be
focused at at 1.5 feet ! Seem to me that I never
had a so low # Leica IA close focus. VERY early vulkan pattern, too, BUT the
opening key on the
baseplate is a normal one, without a small black paint bar. Although not
pictured, it comes with the
proper, early flat Leica cap in black painted brass.
Works well, A clean EX+/EX++,

Leica IA,
(1928),
# 10094, with the "dimpled
mushroom", an early veteran
Leica, with proper early fittings as: 4 screws on top border, small engravings
on
the Elmar lens front ring, complete and never broken VERY early vulkan pattern,
low
profile winding-advancing knob, proper early metal cap.
Works well, A clean EX+,
1.980
Leica IA,
(1928),
# 14415, with the "dimpled
mushroom", with proper early fittings
as: 4 screws on top border, small engravings on the Elmar lens front ring,
complete and
never broken proper vulkan, proper early metal cap.
Quite interesting and collectible, being
one of the rare Leica IA carring the special "silver"
engravings, on the baseplate, that say:
"Lutz, Fernando y Cia, Buenos Aires". Works
well, and smoothly ! A clean EX+,
2.280
Leica IA,
(1927),
# 5250,
still a very early Leica with the proper not
dimpled"mushroom" shooting button, small lens engravings, and more.
The shutter works reliably, with a delicious "sound" ! EX+,

IIIC post WWII, # 512378, well... this
one would be a MINT camera,
if not for the well known and almost fatal
small loss on chrome,
that occur on most similar cameras made in the years 1946/1950.
Despite some chrome loss, visible in my pictures, this is
still
a very cleam camera ! Vulkan, shutter, RF, perfect !
€ 360
IIIG early, # 828243
(Wetzlar, 1956)
in
near mint, very clean conditions. comes
with
"his" also very nice Summicron 50/2 collapsible lens # 1396758 (Wetzlar,
1956 too...)
which glasses, unlike for MOST similar Summicron lenses, are nearly perfect,
with
only very few wipe marks. All aperture leaves are clean and dry, sweetly
clicking
at every full stop value. The IIIG body seem like new at a 1st glance, and I
rated
it as "near mint" only for some really microscopic, minimal more shining specks
on the top plate, almost unnoticeable without a good magnifier. Only the
baseplate,
that may be changed, have two or three small darker spots on chrome, then I rate
it
as ex++/near mint. All knobs are MINT, the vulkan covering is all complete, and
never
broken or repaired, both curtains are still nice, the rangefinder is clean and
contrasty, the
viewfinder is bright, clean, not "jellowish", Film spool and
mint
lens cap included, RESERVED
IIIG # 847036, body cap, near mint, 1.180
IIIG # 981977,
late #, near mint
A small item that represents one of the "secrets" of many professional
photographers...
A
new very special product MADE and offered by Leicatime
!
Please, look attentively... I am introducing
the NEW two "soft shutter releases"
buttons for Leica and other cameras, 16 mm diameter for your finger's comfort.
For Bessas I am making them smaller ! I know, several are offered around.
But, those two models are made in SOLID STAINLESS STEEL
!
TWO models: "Concave" and "Convex"
-
Euro 20 each, choose yours !
NOW, you'll find the Leicatime website address
engraved on their bottom.
I suggest you to purchase it/them along with a case, avoiding to pay the
shipping
cost for the soft release, alone ! I already placed one in EACH of my own
cameras... :-)
Now,
also...
in Black Paint !
However, I can't guarantee the paint duration... (NOW quite strong !)
I thought to post a feedback of a kind buyer, about this item(s)
! :-)
